R01 Bootcamp workshopThis annual grant writing workshop, previously only available to R01 Boot Camp participants, is now being offered to anyone interested in brushing up on NIH grant writing skills on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

The Medical School Office of Research welcomes back John Robertson, Ph.D., of Grant Writers' Seminars & Workshops, who will be presenting "Write Winning NIH R01 Grant Proposals."

This highly-rated workshop is an annual event for R01 Boot Camp participants, and will be open again this year to any faculty member. The $329 fee includes the workshop manual (GWSW's Grant Application Writer's Workbook by Stephen Russell and David Morrison), session materials, a light breakfast, and lunch. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 AM.

Here is what some past participants had to say about the workshop:

“This was even better than I anticipated.” – Assistant Professor, UMMS

“I was really impressed by the ability of the speaker – and the information presented – to be general and yet specific when needed. With such a diverse group, this is key.” – Associate Research Scientist, EECS

“I thought the broken-down approach to writing each section was very helpful.” – Assistant Professor, UMMS

“I very much appreciate the effort and investment that UMMS has put into this program. I only wish I’d done it sooner.” – Associate Professor, UMMS
