All research staff and faculty are welcome to attend the award ceremony and reception celebrating the 2019 recipient, Melissa Schon, and remembering Camille Mrozowski.
The annual Camille Mrozowksi Award for Service Excellence in Research was established to honor a beloved colleague who embodied optimism, compassion, enthusiasm and a special care taken in her support of the Medical School’s research mission.
Melissa Schon is a Senior Pre-Awards Grant Specialist for the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This award recognizes her exceptional job performance, her deep commitment to the success of the research mission and the goals of the ObGyn faculty as she helps ease the administrative burdens through the challenges and hurdles of the submission process.

Her dedication to the individual, departmental and institutional research is apparent in her enthusiasm and willingness to go above and beyond, no task is too small or too big for her. Melissa attends training workshops, develops and implements new strategies and acts as a representative on many committees. She also collaborates with other departments and shares her processes with them.
