Molecular Imaging & Radiology

Molecular imaging displayed on screen

At the U-M, cutting-edge imaging technologies are being combined with new knowledge about genes and proteins to develop new ways of seeing diseases such as cancer as they begin, grow, spread–and are killed by new drugs.

Discoveries in molecular imaging made by our researchers are accelerating everything from diagnosis to the development of future medications. The U-M's Center for Molecular Imaging and the Cyclotron and Radiochemistry groups are at the forefront of these innovations, offering world-class expertise in radiochemistry and imaging (hardware and software).
