Find Funding

UMMS Competition Space

UMMS Competition Space is an innovative online platform that streamlines the process of finding, and applying for, funding opportunities through the U-M Medical School.

The following funding opportunities will now be posted, and can be applied for, through UMMS Competition Space:

  • Awards
  • Bridging Support
  • External Limited Submissions
  • Other Opportunities
  • Pilot Grants

Competition Space is updated regularly by the UMMS Office of Research as well as centers and institutes affiliated with the Medical School offering pilot program funding opportunities for biomedical research. In compliance with the Medical School Centralized Pilot Programs Policy, all Medical School administered pilot programs are now handled through Competition Space. All future internal funding opportunities, including external non-federal limited submission announcements, will also be posted through UMMS Competition Space.
