In addition to his O-CTSU Director role with Clinical Trials Support Office, Matt is also the Administrative Director of Clinical Research for the Rogel Cancer Center. He received his education from the University of Michigan BSE in Computer Engineering (1998) and Masters in Business Administration (2011). Prior to working for the University of Michigan, he worked for the pharmaceutical company, Pfizer, and start-up a software firm, Adia. For 11 years, he focused on IT needs of the Clinical Trials Office before moving into the director’s role in 2013. He has presented at several national meetings on the utilization of clinical trial management systems, effort tracking, and workload metrics as well as co-authoring articles in Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (JNCCN) on improving workload management of cancer clinical trials.
