Zaneta Nikolovska-Coleska Named Associate Dean for Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies

The Board of Regents recently approved the appointment of Zaneta Nikolovska-Coleska, Ph.D., as Medical School Associate Dean for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, effective Oct. 1, 2022. In her new leadership role, she is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership for the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and the Medical School’s graduate, postbaccalaureate, and postdoctoral programs.
A tenured professor in the Department of Pathology, Dr. Nikolovska-Coleska has been director of the Molecular and Cellular Pathology Graduate Program since 2013, and in 2018 she was appointed Associate Director of the Program in Biomedical Sciences. She is an internationally recognized biomedical researcher focusing on the discovery and development of molecularly targeted therapies for cancer treatment, particularly targeting protein-protein interactions involved in regulating apoptotic pathways and epigenetics.

Under her able leadership, our Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies programs will continue to thrive and grow.”
