IRBMED has revised two of its specialty informed consent templates—the template for one-time blood draw and the template for survey-only studies—to reflect some of the new language in the revised standard template. Three of the new paragraphs in both templates pertain to sharing of information and biospecimens and a fourth new paragraph pertains to rights to proceeds gained from research discoveries.
