New Platform & Updated Content: Post-Award Procedures Manual for Research Administrators

The Grant Services & Analysis team maintains the Post-Award Procedures Manual, which was developed to guide research administrators in providing post-award support to faculty in the pursuit and conduct of research. The manual outlines post-award expectations and offers guidance on procedures, best practices and resources. Previously a PDF document, the manual recently received a content update and transitioned to a web-based platform to better serve research administrators across Michigan Medicine.

The updated Post-Award Procedures Manual on Confluence provides on-demand access, enhanced search functionality, allows users to quickly navigate to information, and continues to provide print capability when needed. The new manual was designed with user-friendly navigation and accessibility in mind and offers a more contemporary look and feel. The manual also offers users the ability to customize how additional content accessed via hyperlinks displays. Clicking a hyperlink defaults the content view to the current window. However, users can also right mouse click for options to view the additional information in a new window or new tab if so desired. Please be sure to visit and share with colleagues!
