Researchpalooza Exhibitor Information

Would you like to promote your services to hundreds of U-M Medical School researchers, all in one afternoon? Spend a few hours learning the “word on the street” about the latest collaboration and funding opportunities, and network in an informal atmosphere with faculty and staff across dozens of specialties? Then mark your calendar for Researchpalooza!

We invite your University of Michigan office or lab to join a unique opportunity to get “face time” and share some fun with the researchers and staff of the Medical School.

Michigan Medicine is hosting its Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 15, 11:00am-2:00pm in the courtyards of the Medical Campus. In conjunction with this popular annual event, the Medical School Office of Research (OoR) is once again hosting Researchpalooza.  Offices and labs that participate in Researchpalooza will be assigned a FREE table in a vendor fair area in front of the Medical School.  Circle Drive will be closed, and we’ll have a tent with a popcorn machine, music, and other fun activities!  (CLICK HERE to check out fun photos from last year)

Pre-event communication is key, so OoR and Michigan Medicine will promote Researchpalooza through multiple channels on campus. Plus we'll be counting on exhibitors to advertise to their internal contacts and potential audiences, too.  And in the spirit of the event, exhibitors might consider…

• giveaways branded with the lab name (pens? frisbees? baseball caps?), or something edible is always popular
• “fishbowl” drawing for a grand prize
• staff in matching t-shirts, or even whimsical garb relevant to the discipline or service
• special posters, graphics –or even balloons!- that promote the latest and greatest news
