Researchpalooza attendeesSeptember 13, 2023

A glorious early-fall day found hundreds of faculty and staff mixing and mingling with team members from over 60 different offices and labs who serve biomedical research across campus. CLICK HERE for a gallery of fun photos from the event.

900+ attendees used the Medical School Office of Research's famous "Passport to Prizes" to navigate the event and learn the latest facts and services about the various groups, while having fun and getting the chance to win great prizes. A few of the winners of this year's prize drawings include:

In addition to prize drawings, each year the OoR also sponsors a Customer Service Award for the participating organizations. “Secret shoppers” wandered the event, evaluating the tables CHEARbased on research knowledge and the friendliness of the staff. This year, the Susan B. Meister Child Health Evaluation and Research Center (pictured right) took home the trophy, with the secret shoppers noting that CHEAR’s staff were very enthusiastic and engaging. The Taubman Health Sciences Library and Planet Blue teams were also recognized by our shoppers, which is particularly nice to hear since those groups have been exhibiting at Researchpalooza since the very first event back in 2010!

Looking forward to Researchpalooza 2024!
